In addition to world-class winter and summer sports, Whistler is home to a number of award-winning cultural experiences as well. One of such is the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre. The Squamish and Lil’wat Nations were among the first to occupy the land from North Vancouver to past Pemberton. The centre was built by these First Nations groups to showcase their art, history, culture, provide an insight into the history of Whistler and of course, share their story with others! Come join us as we go visit the exhibits, tours and interactive workshops that are all part of the experience at the SLCC.
The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre is an experience that joins history and culture, right in the heart of Whistler. Add this activity to your list of things to do. Better yet, grab an Adventure Passport and save on your entry into the SLCC!
